Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow corn grits
- 3 cups water (can use milk if desired)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 bring water (or milk) and salt to a boil.
- 2 add corn grits and reduce heat.
- 3 cook slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
- 4 remove from heat, cover and let stand for a couple of minutes before serving.
- 5 feel free to add butter, brown sugar, honey, etc.
