Banana Oat Breakfast Bars

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees. grease a 13"x9" pan or use a parchment sling.
  • 2 combine the oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. make a well in the center.
  • 3 in another bowl combine eggs, banana, applesauce, milk, maple syrup, brown sugar and vanilla.
  • 4 pour the liquid mix into the dry and stir until just combined. add the dried cranberries.
  • 5 place in greased pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  • 6 cut into bars and enjoy.
