Bacon Potato Chowder

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch slices
  • 6 medium potatoes, cubed 1/2 inch (2 cups)
  • 2 medium onions, chopped (1cup)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon over medium heat; add potatoes and onions.
  • 2 continue cooking, until potatoes are tender.
  • 3 add all remaining ingredients.
  • 4 continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
