Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup cold water
Recipe
- 1 combine cornmeal, flour and 1 tsp salt in a bowl.
- 2 cut in shortening.
- 3 in a separate bowl, beat together egg and 1/4 cup water.
- 4 add to cornmeal mixture.
- 5 press into 9 inch pie plate to form crust.
- 6 use in place of regular pie crust.
