Cornmeal Griddle Cakes

Ingredients

- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- 6 tablespoons milk
- cooking spray
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- 2 in a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, sour cream, egg and egg whites. stir in milk.
- 3 pour into dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- 4 coat a nonstick griddle with cooking spray. drop batter 2 tablespoons at a time griddle.
- 5 cook, turning once until golden on both sides, 3-4 minutes.
