Bacon, Cabbage, Noodles

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs bacon, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 6 ounces egg noodles
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook egg noodles according to package directions.
  • 2 fry bacon, remove from pan, and drain the fat, reserving a few tablespoons.
  • 3 after bacon has been removed from the pan, add onion and cabbage.
  • 4 add a few tablespoons of the bacon fat and a few tablespoons of water.
  • 5 cover and cook on high until cabbage and onions are tender.
  • 6 combine all ingredients and add salt and pepper to taste.
