Banana Nut Muffins

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f (190°c).
- 2 grease muffin cups.
- 3 stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- 4 separately cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 5 beat in eggs, and stir in bananas, buttermilk and vanilla.
- 6 add dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- 7 add walnuts and stir.
- 8 pour into muffin cups.
- 9 bake 25-30 minutes.
- 10 cool for 5 minutes before eating.
