Badam Doodh

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/4 cup almonds, blanched & roughly chopped
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 -4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 -2 leaf edible silver foil

Recipe

  • 1 heat milk in a thick heavy bottomed pan and bring to a boil.
  • 2 reduce the heat add the chopped almonds and simmer on low heat for 15- 20 minutes
  • 3 add green cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and continue to boil for another 2 minutes.
  • 4 remove from the heat , add honey and stir.
  • 5 serve warm in individual earthenware glasses garnished with silver warq.6.
