1-dish Hot Fudge Swirl Cake

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 (1/4 ounce) packages fast rise yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup very warm water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup hot fudge, ice cream sauce (don't use chocolate syrup!)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Recipe

  • 1 spray a 9 1/2 inch deep-dish pie pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 in the prepared pan, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, water, and melted butter.
  • 3 top the batter with evenly-spaced spoonfuls of the hot fudge sauce. using the spoon, swirl fudge sauce into the batter without mixing.
  • 4 place the pie pan in a cold oven. set the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes, until lightly browned and firm in the center.
  • 5 cool 10 minutes. combine powdered sugar and milk and drizzle over warm cake.
