Amish Friendship Bread (with Fresh Fruit)

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup amish batter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 cups fresh fruit, diced, chopped or sliced

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375° and grease 2 loaf pans.
  • 2 combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
  • 3 combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
  • 4 add the wet to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • 5 fold in the nuts and fruit.
  • 6 pour into the prepared pans and bake 50-60 minutes.
