Baked Omelet

Ingredients

• 2 cups monterey jack cheese
• 1 medium green pepper, chopped
• 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
• 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1/2 cup cubed cooked ham
• 12 eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• pepper, to taste

Recipe

• 1 in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish, layer half of the cheese, green pepper, chilies, mushrooms, onion and ham. repeat layers. in a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper; pour over vegetable mixture.
• 2 bake, uncovered, at 350 f for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
