Ingredients

- 8 big apples (peeled and sliced)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 7 tablespoons butter (soft)
Recipe
- 1 fill a 9x13 baking dish with the peeled and sliced apples.
- 2 mix the water and cinnamon together and pour over the apples.
- 3 topping:.
- 4 put all three ingredients into a bowl and work it with your fingers till it is well blended.
- 5 with your fingers still messy, crumble this topping all over the apples till it is all used.
- 6 bake 400 degrees till the apples are done.
- 7 the tops will be golden and crunchy and apples soft.
- 8 serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- 9 also, good with cheddar cheese (just like apple pie is good with it).
