Berta's Chops & Sauerkraut

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 -6 lamb chops
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can sauerkraut
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in large fry pan.
  • 2 brown lamb chops.
  • 3 remove from pan.
  • 4 sauté onion until tender.
  • 5 add sugar and work up all browned stuff in pan.
  • 6 add sauerkraut and mix well.
  • 7 put chops on top and cover.
  • 8 lower heat and simmer until meat is cooked- about 10 minutes.
