Crab And Avocado Dip On Chips - Gourmet Style ;)

Ingredients

  • 3 hass avocadoes
  • 3 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 cup basil, chiffonade
  • 1 cup jumbo crabmeat (use as much or little as you would like)
  • salt and pepper
  • tortilla chips (i use the ones made of corn so my celiac mom can enjoy these too, but you can also use toasted pita )

Recipe

  • 1 in one bowl combine the avocados, juice of 2 limes, salt and pepper.mix this together until it is of chunky consistency.
  • 2 in another bowl combine the crab meat, basil, salt, pepper and the juice of the last lime. mix together, being careful not to pull apart the meat.
  • 3 arrange your tortilla chips on a serving platter and place a teaspoonful of the avocado mixture on top of each of them and then 1/2 teaspoon of the crab on top of the avocado. if you have any extra basil you can add a little to the top of the chip. this amounts are up to you actually, but this is what i recommend. so you can try it and put as much or as little of the avocado and crab meat mixtures as you want.
