A Pail Full Of Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups natural bran
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 eggs
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 5 cups flour
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 cups all-bran cereal
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
Recipe
- 1 mix boiling water and bram and let stand.
- 2 cream oil, sugars and eggs.
- 3 add buttermilk, bran and molasses.
- 4 mix dry ingredients together.
- 5 fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- 6 pour into ice cream pail and store in fridge for at least 24 hours prior to using.
- 7 bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes.
- 8 do not stir mix each time you use it. it will darken slightly on the surface.
