Baked Caramel French Toast

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
Recipe
- 1 boil butter, maple syrup and brown sugar together for 1 minute.
- 2 pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.
- 3 slice french bread and put a layer of slices over the caramel mixture.
- 4 beat rest of ingredients together and pour over the bread.
- 5 refrigerate covered overnight.
- 6 bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- 7 turn pieces over onto serving platter and caramel will be on top.
