Bittersweet Brownies

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 10 tablespoons hot melted butter
- 2 cold eggs
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 line an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with foil.
- 3 combine cocoa, sugar, vanilla, salt, and melted buttter.
- 4 mix with mixer until well combined. add eggs one at a time.
- 5 add flour and mix until just blended. fold in nuts.
- 6 spread evenly in lined baking dish.
- 7 bake at 325 degrees for about 28 to 30 minutes.
- 8 toothpick inserted in the center will be a little fudgy.
- 9 cool brownies completely.
- 10 lift from baking dish and remove the foil. cut into squares and serve.
