A+ Dog Biscuits, A Home Brewer's Delight

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats (the spent grains from the brewing process. i had to say oats because recipezaar did not recognize "s)
  • 2 cups flour (i use whole wheat)
  • 1 cup meat (cooked, leftover, ground up in a food processor. i have also used leftover swedish meatballs and pas)
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 370.
  • 2 combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • 3 form dough into a big ball.
  • 4 cut a piece of parchment paper to fit a cookie sheet.
  • 5 flour a rolling pin to prevent sticking.
  • 6 sprinkle flour on dough ball.
  • 7 roll out your dough on the parchment paper to 1/4 (or a little less) of an inch thick.
  • 8 cut cross-hatch squares into the dough before cooking so that the "biscuits" are easily separated after cooking.
  • 9 cook for 40 minutes at 370.
  • 10 let cool and break them apart.
  • 11 place biscuits in a paper bag. you should chill them in the fridge if you will not be using them all in a week.
