Biscuit Mushroom Bake

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 (12 ounce) package refrigerated biscuits

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, saute mushrooms in butter.
  • 2 stir in flour until blended, gradually add broth and milk.
  • 3 bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. remove from heat.
  • 4 stir in lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and paprika.
  • 5 pour into a greased 11 x 7 baking dish and arrange biscuits over the top.
  • 6 bake , uncovered at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown,.
  • 7 let stand 5 minutes before serving.
