Corny Chocolate Crunch

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts popped popcorn
  • 3 cups corn chex
  • 3 cups broken corn chips
  • 1 (11 ounce) package butterscotch chips
  • 3/4 lb dark chocolate confectionary coating

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine popcorn, cereal and corn chips; set aside.
  • 2 don't eat yet!
  • 3 in a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butterscotch chips and candy coating; stir until smooth.
  • 4 pour over popcorn mixture and toss to coat.
  • 5 spread into two greased 15 x 10-inch baking pans.
  • 6 when cool enough to handle, break into pieces.
  • 7 yields about 5 quarts.
