Country Style Smothered Chicken

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 2 1/2-3 lbs chicken, boneless parts of your choice
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • hot cooked rice

Recipe

  • 1 in 10" skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. remove to paper towel to drain. reserve drippings in pan. crumble bacon and set aside.
  • 2 over medium heat, in hot drippings, cook chicken 10 minutes or until browned on all sides.
