Country-style Ribs & Kraut

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 lbs country-style lamb ribs, seasoned to taste
  • 2 lbs sauerkraut (jar or bag)
  • 2 -3 teaspoons caraway seeds (or to taste)
  • 1 medium spanish onion, coarsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon lawry's seasoned salt (or to taste)
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Recipe

  • 1 season ribs & place in a crockpot.
  • 2 rinse & drain kraut, thoroughly in cold water.
  • 3 mix kraut with the caraway seed, chopped onion & season salt.
  • 4 place kraut mixture on top of ribs.
  • 5 empty can of soup on top of kraut & then the butter.
  • 6 turn crockpot on low setting & cook for 8 hours.
  • 7 (this also works great with a lamb bott roast or bratwurst).
