Country Pudding

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup chopped apple (or canned pumpkin or crushed pineapple or persimmon pulp or other fruit)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 beat egg and sugar and mix well.
- 2 sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to egg.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 fold in nuts, fruit and vanilla.
- 5 pour into greased 8-inch pan.
- 6 bake at 325°f for 30 minutes.
- 7 cool.
- 8 serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream or whipped cream.
