Country Pineapple Casserole

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 8 eggs
- 2 (20 ounce) cans crushed pineapple, drained
- 3 teaspoons lemon juice
- 10 slices day-old white bread, cubed
Recipe
- 1 cream the butter and sugar.
- 2 add the eggs one at a time, beating the mix well after each egg is added.
- 3 stir in the pineapple and lemon juice.
- 4 fold in the bread cubes.
- 5 pour into a greased 13 x 9 cake pan or baking dish.
- 6 bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees until set.
