Country Pineapple Casserole

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 (20 ounce) cans crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 10 slices day-old white bread, cubed

Recipe

  • 1 cream the butter and sugar.
  • 2 add the eggs one at a time, beating the mix well after each egg is added.
  • 3 stir in the pineapple and lemon juice.
  • 4 fold in the bread cubes.
  • 5 pour into a greased 13 x 9 cake pan or baking dish.
  • 6 bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees until set.
