Ingredients

- 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese or 1 cup monterey jack cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/3 cups minute rice
Recipe
- 1 combine crust ingredients and mix well. pat meat mix into bottom of pie dish. pinch 1-inch fluting around edges. set aside.
- 2 combine minute rice, spaghetti sauce, water, salt and 1/4 cup of cheese. spoon mix into meat shell. cover with aluminum foil. bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
- 3 uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese. return to oven and bake uncovered 10 to 15 minutes. cut into pie-shaped pieces and serve.
