Country Meat Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/3 cups instant rice
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated, divided

Recipe

  • 1 for crust:.
  • 2 combine all crust ingredients and mix well.
  • 3 pat meat mixture into a greased pie pan.
  • 4 pinch 1-inch fluting around the edges.
