Country Kielbasa Kabobs

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup grey poupon country dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/3 cup minced green onion
  • 1 lb kielbasa, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large apple, cored and cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup frozen pearl onions, thawed
  • 6 small red potatoes, parboiled, halved
  • 3 cups shredded red and green cabbage, steamed

Recipe

  • 1 soak 6 10-inch wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  • 2 in small bowl, blend mustard, preserves and green onions; set aside 1/4 cup mixture.
  • 3 alternately thread kielbasa, apple, pearl onions and potatoes on skewers.
  • 4 grill or broil kabobs for 12 to 15 minutes or until done, turning and brushing with remaining mustard mixture.
  • 5 heat reserved mustard mixture and toss with steamed cabbage.
  • 6 serve hot with kabobs.
  • 7 garnish as desired.
