Basic Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 cups uncooked macaroni
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350.
- 2 prepare macaroni according to pkg. directions.
- 3 melt butter.
- 4 add flour, worcestershire,salt, pepper and dry mustard and stir constantly.
- 5 cook over medium low heat until bubbly and smooth.
- 6 remove from the heat and stir in milk.
- 7 return to stove and stir until boiling.
- 8 stir 1 minute.
- 9 remove from heat again and add cheese.
- 10 add macaroni, stir until combined.
- 11 pour into 2 quart casserole dish.
- 12 bake 20 minutes uncovered.
