Baked Parmesan Macaroni

Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups milk, heated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash tabasco sauce
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup grated romano cheese
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
Recipe
- 1 heat butter in a saucepan until melted; stir in flour until smooth.
- 2 cook, stirring, over low heat until the flour is cooked, about 3 minutes.
- 3 gradually stir in the hot milk until smooth.
- 4 cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and is thickened.
- 5 cook, stirring frequently over low heat for 10 minutes.
- 6 meanwhile cook the macaroni on plenty of salted boiling water. drain.
- 7 combine the sauce, pasta, romano and parmesan cheeses.
- 8 pour into a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese.
- 9 bake for 45 minutes at 350 until top is browned and bubbly.
