Beer Biscuits

Ingredients
- 4 cups sifted flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer, room temp
Recipe
- 1 large bowl; sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- 2 cut in butter.
- 3 add beer.
- 4 mix lightly with fork until ball forms turn dough onto generously floured surface.
- 5 knead gently 5-6 times.
- 6 roll dough out and cut with biscuit cutter. place biscuits 1 in apart on ungreased baking sheet. bake until tops are brown (15-18 minutes) at 425°f.
