Beer Biscuits

Total Time: 33 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 18 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sifted flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beer, room temp

Recipe

  • 1 large bowl; sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • 2 cut in butter.
  • 3 add beer.
  • 4 mix lightly with fork until ball forms turn dough onto generously floured surface.
  • 5 knead gently 5-6 times.
  • 6 roll dough out and cut with biscuit cutter. place biscuits 1 in apart on ungreased baking sheet. bake until tops are brown (15-18 minutes) at 425°f.
