Almond-raisin-winter-cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 7 tablespoons butter (100 g)
- 1/3 cup sugar (75 g)
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2/3 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 teaspoon clove, ground
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 -3 tablespoons dried cranberries
Recipe
- 1 roughly chop the almonds. set aside.
- 2 cream butter, sugar and egg until frothy.
- 3 in a second bowl mix flour, baking soda, spices and salt. add this to the butter mixture gradually.
- 4 fold in almonds, raisins, cranberries and mix with a spoon.
- 5 using your hands form dough balls the size of a walnut.
- 6 place on a paper-lined baking tray and flatten slightly.
- 7 bake in the preheated oven at 170°c/350°f for 15-20 minutes.
