Baked Ziti

- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 16 ounces ricotta cheese
- 12 ounces mozzarella cheese (about 3 cups)
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350°f grease a 3-quart baking dish.
- 2 cook the ziti in a large pot of salted boiling water until done, about 15 minutes. drain and transfer to a large bowl.
- 3 stir the ricotta and 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella into the ziti.
- 4 cover the bottom of the baking dish with 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce. spoon the ziti mixture over the sauce. cover with the remaining sauce. sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella.
- 5 bake for 30 minutes, until hot and bubbling. remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
