Baked Ziti

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ziti pasta
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 12 ounces mozzarella cheese (about 3 cups)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350°f grease a 3-quart baking dish.
  • 2 cook the ziti in a large pot of salted boiling water until done, about 15 minutes. drain and transfer to a large bowl.
  • 3 stir the ricotta and 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella into the ziti.
  • 4 cover the bottom of the baking dish with 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce. spoon the ziti mixture over the sauce. cover with the remaining sauce. sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella.
  • 5 bake for 30 minutes, until hot and bubbling. remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
