Bacon Candy

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 20 slices bacon (thick cut, about 1.5 lbs)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
- 2 line two rimmed baking sheets with foil.
- 3 whisk sugar and chili powder together.
- 4 arrange bacon strips on foil and coat with chili sugar.
- 5 bake 20-25 minutes until carmelized and almost crisp.
- 6 transfer to a rack set over a sheet of foil. cool completely. serve.
- 7 note: this can be made earlier in the day. store at room temperature.
