Cranberry Tea

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 lb fresh cranberries or 1 lb frozen cranberries
  • 2 quarts water
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups orange juice

Recipe

  • 1 boil cranberries with 2 qts water until berries pop.
  • 2 let set 5 minutes.
  • 3 strain.
  • 4 discard solids and return juice to stove.
  • 5 add 2 cups water, cinnamon sticks and sugar.
  • 6 bring to a boil; boil 1 minute.
  • 7 cool.
  • 8 add lemon and orange juices.
  • 9 heat and serve.
  • 10 store in refrigerator.
