Cream Cake

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons light cream or 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 beat eggs in small bowl until very thick.
- 3 add sugar and vanilla.
- 4 beat well.
- 5 measure flour, baking powder, and salt into another bowl.
- 6 stir.
- 7 add cream to batter in 2 parts alternately with flour mixture in 3 parts, beginning and ending with dry mixture.
- 8 pour into greased 9x9 inch pan.
- 9 bake in oven for 30-40 minutes unil an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- 10 icing: beat all ingredients together in bowl until smooth.
- 11 add more liquid or icing sugar as needed.
