Cream Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cream
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- 2 mix dry ingredients. quickly stir in cream.
- 3 add more if necessary- dough should be soft, slightly sticky but manageable.
- 4 turn out on lightly floured board.
- 5 work into smooth round.
- 6 pat or gently roll into rectangle.
- 7 fold dough over 4 times.
- 8 pat or roll into rectangle again. (this makes biscuits flaky and easy to seperate into layers).
- 9 dough should be about 1/2" thick.
- 10 cut with round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter.
- 11 place on greased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 12 serve with strawberry jam or canadian honey.
- 13 yields 10-12 biscuits.
