Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4-1 cup whipping cream
- melted butter
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- 2 butter baking sheet or square baking pan.
- 3 sift first 4 ingredients into large bowl.
- 4 fold in enough cream to make soft dough that can be handled easily.
- 5 turn out floured board and knead about 1 minute.
- 6 pat to 1/2- 3/4 inch thickness.
- 7 cut into rounds or squares, dip in melted butter and place on baking sheet (do not crowd; biscuits should not touch).
- 8 bake until golden, about 15- 18 minutes.
- 9 serve hot.
