Cranberry-ginger Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries, rinsed and dried
- 1/4 cup chopped crystallized ginger
- 1 tablespoon dry
- 1 teaspoon soya sauce
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine sugar with one cup water.
- 2 bring to a boil over medium heat and cook five minutes.
- 3 add cranberries.
- 4 return to a boil.
- 5 cook stirring once or twice just til their skins pop. (about 5 mins).
- 6 stir in ginger, , soya sauce and cayenne.
- 7 remove from heat.
- 8 allow to cool.
- 9 serve at room temperature.
