Crazy Skillet Tacos

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (19 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 1/2 cups salsa
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 2 cups tortilla chips, slightly crumbled
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, until no longer pink, 5 minutes, breaking up chunks, drain fat. add the beans, salsa, taco seasoning and water, reduce heat and continue to cook, stirring often, for 8-10 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly.
- 2 sprinkle the meat mixture with the tomatoes, followed ny the tortilla chips and the shredded cheese, cover and cook 3-4 minutes, until the cheese melts.
- 3 remove lid and remove from heat, sprinkle with lettuce, dollop with sour cream. serve out of the skillet.
