Coy's Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 4 cups white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups baking cocoa
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup vanilla
Recipe
- 1 mix in a 6 quart kettle the first 6 ingredients until it is well blended; add another cup of water and stir again.
- 2 bring to a boil and make sure its a rolling boil for at least five minutes. watch closely or it will boil over.
- 3 add 1/4 cup vanilla.
- 4 remove from heat.
- 5 boil lids and rings.
- 6 pour into sterile jars and seals.
- 7 refrigerate after opening. makes 5 pints.
