Cowboy Cornbread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons crisco

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 combine cornmeal, flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  • 3 add egg and milk and mix well.
