Cream Cheese Onion Swirls

Ingredients
- 12 dinner rolls, thawed to room temperature (rhodes dinner rolls)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup french-fried onions
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon poppy seed
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
- 2 combine rolls; roll into a 12 x 16-inch rectangle.
- 3 cover with plastic wrap and let rest.
- 4 combine cream cheese, french-fried onions, parmesan cheese, butter, poppy seeds, parsley, and garlic powder; mix well.
- 5 remove plastic wrap from dough and spread evenly with the cream cheese mixture, leaving about 1-inch along one long side uncovered.
- 6 start rolling up the dough from the long side with filling.
- 7 brush the uncovered long edge with water and continue rolling. the moistened edge will help the dough seal.
- 8 cut into 12 equal pieces and place on a sprayed baking sheet.
- 9 cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.
- 10 remove plastic wrap.
- 11 bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
