- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup steak sauce, or more to taste
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
- 10 skewers, or as needed

- preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
- stir ground beef, steak sauce, and onion soup mix together in a bowl until well combined. roll small handfuls of beef mixture into hot dog shapes, 4- to 5-inches in length. push skewers through lengthwise.
- place skewers on preheated grill and cook about 4 minutes. flip skewers and continue cooking until centers reach an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees f (70 degrees c).
