Banana Crater Cake (lightened Up Version)

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 medium bananas, mashed
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup plain yogurt or 1 cup light sour cream
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 cream together butter, oil and sugar.
- 2 add beaten eggs and beat until smooth.
- 3 add vanilla and mashed bananas. mix until smooth.
- 4 sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and 1 tsp cinnamon and blend well.
- 5 add dry ingredients to banana mixture, alternating with yogurt, ending with dry ingredients.
- 6 pour half the batter into a greased or parchment paper lined 9" x 13" pan.
- 7 combine cinnamon and brown sugar. sprinkle half of mixture over the batter in pan.
- 8 top with half the chocolate chips.
- 9 repeat layers.
- 10 bake at 350 f for 45 to 50 minutes.
