Back To School Bars

Total Time: 32 mins Preparation Time: 7 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) container plain low-fat yogurt or 1 (8 ounce) container low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 jar prune baby food
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 3 cups oats (i used 1/2 quick and 1/2 old fashioned)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or 1 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350*.
  • 2 mix sugars, yogurt, egg whites, oil, milk, prunes and vanilla.
  • 3 combine all other ingredients with these.
  • 4 mix all ingredients together.
  • 5 pour into 9 x 13 pan.
  • 6 bake at 350* for 25 minutes.
  • 7 cut into bars, store tightly covered.
