Corn Fritters

Ingredients

- 1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- syrup (optional)
- oil (for frying)
Recipe
- 1 heat oil to 400 degrees.
- 2 in a bowl mix all of the ingredients together.
- 3 just until blended.
- 4 drop bater by tablespoon full into hot oil.
- 5 do not add too many at once or it will lower your oil temperature.
- 6 fry 3 to 5 minutes turning once.
- 7 remove, drain on paper towel.
- 8 serve warm drizzled with syrup.
