Corn Fritters

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • syrup (optional)
  • oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil to 400 degrees.
  • 2 in a bowl mix all of the ingredients together.
  • 3 just until blended.
  • 4 drop bater by tablespoon full into hot oil.
  • 5 do not add too many at once or it will lower your oil temperature.
  • 6 fry 3 to 5 minutes turning once.
  • 7 remove, drain on paper towel.
  • 8 serve warm drizzled with syrup.
