Coq Au Vin (chicken In )

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 lb smoked meat or 1/4 lb smoked chicken, chopped small
- 3/4 cup scallion, chopped
- 1 sliced carrot
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon marjoram
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups burgundy
- 2 chicken
- 1/2 lb mushroom
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in large skillet.
- 2 brown chicken pieces lightly and place in large pot.
- 3 add to skillet and brown lightly, smoked meat, scallions, carrot and garlic.
- 4 add flour, parsley flakes, majoram, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and and bring to a simmer.
- 5 pour over chicken.
- 6 the chicken should be covered.
- 7 simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
- 8 add mushrooms during last 5 minutes.
- 9 your house will smell great.
- 10 serve with rice.
