Cream Biscuits

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups cream or 2 cups half-and-half

Recipe

  • 1 sift dry ingredients.
  • 2 cut in 1/4 cup of butter.
  • 3 add the cream.
  • 4 roll out on a floured board.
  • 5 cut with a 2-inch cutter.
  • 6 bake on an ungreased pan in a hot oven at 400 degrees fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
