Best Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 medium carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup nuts, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 for cake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. grease a 9-inch round cake pan. dust with flour.
  • 2 in bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
  • 3 in a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
